There’s magic going on in the cosmos and I want to share a bit about some themes and how you can harness the power of the planets for ultimate growth + transformation. Here we goooo!

(If you prefer watching videos, I go into greater depth around astro magic + new moon rituals here!)

THEME: SCREW SURFACE, GO DEEP (oooh yes) //

Cosmic Consciousness:
Jupiter (the planet of expansion, growth, and abundance) has entered into the mysterious, secretive, and taboo realm of Scorpio. With Jupiter in this placement for the next 13 months, there will be an increase in our desire to understand and explore areas that have been kept hidden.

Forget skimming the surface and staying superficial! We’re being called to go deep and get to the root of it all—even if that means looking at the darker sides we’ve been denying. So don’t be surprised if you’re feeling an intensified pull towards themes like psychology, sex, the occult, power, and rebirth.

Global Glimpse:

It’s no surprise that the #metoo movement and necessary conversations around racism have surfaced when for so long, topics like these have been buried in the shadows or ignored.

Personal Influence:

I know I’ve personally felt an undeniable desire to explore and share my findings in subjects such as Shadow Work¼, cycles, archetypes, transformation, and sex. And beyond explore, truly master these areas (remember, no skimming!), which is why I’ve immersed myself in programs and certifications to help me do so.

Your Turn:

This truly is a powerful time for greater self-awareness and true transformation, if you allow yourself the time and space to make it happen. What’s been an area you’ve been desiring to explore in greater depth, but have been denying yourself? What’s one small action step you can take to make it happen?

THEME: MAGIC DANCES WITH LOGIC //

Comic Consciousness:

The moon (ruler of our emotional body) is brand-spankin’ new in the sign of Libra on October 19th. Libra is all about balance, community, and fairness, so if you’ve been feeling scattered or confused, this is a great time to find clarity and come back to a grounded center.

Libra energy helps us to understand the importance of balancing what appear to be opposites—masculine and feminine, business and play, logic and magic—and beyond balancing, to effortlessly dance between worlds and weave them together.

Personal Influence:

This Thursday, I’ll be embarking on an incredible 12-month journey with the ladies inside of the Fully Activated Woman. This is the *perfect* time to create a container for sacred sisterhood and to dive into a program about activating ALL parts of you. Without this knowledge, parts of you will remain deactivated and imbalanced, therefore creating feelings of unfulfillment and stagnation.

Your Turn:

This is a great time to look at areas you feel have been pulling you in opposite directions, and instead of choosing a side, see how they can possibly come together for even greater impact. Where have you been choosing one thing over another? How can you take a stand for the AND, instead?

For example, why just focus on a certain income goal, like $100k? Why not also choose to feel aligned and ignited by the work you’re doing in the world, so you know without a doubt that you’re living your soul purpose? AND have a true soulmate who adores and admires each and every unique part of you? AND have a sex life that is steamy, passionate, deep, and meaningful. AND have an incredible wellness and exercise routine that fuels you? AND you spend all the time you desire immersing yourself in your hobbies, playing, and simply enjoying life to the fullest?

If you’re feeling blocked around this, what stories are repeating themselves in your head that are telling you that you can’t have this? How can you change the narrative moving forward to support you in stepping into your next level, instead of keeping you stuck?

NEW MOON RITUAL //

The New Moon is all about setting intentions for the month ahead and initiating aligned actions, so this is the perfect time to feel into what you desire and plant seeds to make ‘em grow into something you can harvest later in the month.

Step 1: Find a sacred space. This can be as simple as a clean office or bedroom, or as elaborate as a room dedicated to ceremony.

Step 2: Adorn your sacred space. Feel free to keep things minimal or go all out! Some options you can play around with include: candles, objects that represent the four elements, smudging herbs, tarot cards, crystals, and essential oils (my fav)! Some really great ones for the New Moon are Cypress for cleansing, grounding and transitions; Lavender to calm anxiety and soothe emotions (especially if you’re leading the ritual!); and Frankincense for deep breath work and spiritual ceremony.

Step 3: Cleanse your sacred space. You can do this by saying a prayer, smudging sage, burning incense, lighting a candle, or sprinkling salt water.

Step 4: Ground and center. You can do this by moving your body; rooting your feet or sit bones into the ground; visualizing a cord or roots extending from your body and into the core of the earth; performing a white light meditation that aligns all of your chakras; or anything else that will help you get into your body and be in the present moment!

Step 5: Cast the circle. Call in the elements, starting with the Air in the East, and working clockwise to the Fire in the South, the Water in the West, and lastly, the Earth in the North. You can simply visualize creating a circle and connecting it to the cardinal directions and elements; you can light a candle in the place of each element and direction; or even invoke magical objects into the casting of your circle. You may wish to say something along the lines of, “The circle is now cast!” But again, this is your ritual, so it’s totally up to you!

Step 6: Set intentions. Feel into what you desire to manifest. Since the New Moon is in Libra this month, you may choose to set intentions around partnerships, balance, and community—but really, any intentions will do! Write all of your intentions down in a notebook or journal that you’ll be able to refer back to at a later date. If you’re gathered in a group, you can feel free to share these intentions with others. This is super powerful because it allows you to 1) speak your intentions into reality (hellllooooo spell casting!) and 2) be witnessed and held by a sisterhood.

Step 7: Close the circle. Acknowledge all of the directions and elements you called upon (and anything else!) and retrace your circle starting in the East and moving counter-clockwise this time (East, to North, to West, to South, back to East). You can say a prayer like, “The circle is now closed, but never broken.”

Step 8: Take a moment to re-center and celebrate! Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and allow yourself to let the magic of the ritual sink in. Afterwards, feel free to celebrate in whatever way feels best for you! Whether that’s snuggling up with a cup of tea or breaking out into song + dance.

Step 9: Take aligned action. Get clear on what action steps you can take in order to manifest your desires! I love writing out a list of all the things I personally can do to make my intentions happen AND all the things I can ask the support of the Universe with to co-create my dreams with me.

Step 10: Track your intentions. As the month progresses, take time each week to check in with your intentions and evaluate and feel into how things are going. The Full Moon is especially a great time to ask yourself: What’s going well? What could be improved? What has manifested? What no longer feels like a desire? Asking these questions will help to shed light on what actions to take next!

And there you have it! All you need to create your very own New Moon ceremony! And of course, feel free to take or leave anything as you see fit. This is YOUR ceremony so make sure it feels good to you.

If you partake in a New Moon ceremony, I’d loooove to hear how it goes! Feel free to comment on this post or tag me in your pics!
