Growing up as a girl today is harder than ever. But what if we could change that story—starting now?

1 in 3 teen girls feel

persistently sad or hopeless (CDC)

Loneliness is at record highs for girls, with many reporting fewer close friendships than in previous generations.

teens who report having a trusted adult outside

the family are 70% more likely to feel "optimistic" about their future (CDC)

Cultures that include positive puberty rites of passage (ceremonies, mentorship, celebrations) see higher self-esteem AND lower shame in adolescent girls (UNICEF).

40% of teen girls say

social media makes them feel worse about their bodies (pew research)

...AND Preteens spend over 5 hours per day on screens outside school (Common Sense Media, 2022).

53% of 13-year old girls

already dislike their bodies (NEDA)

^ By age 17 this jumps to 78%. Girls as young as 8 years old are dieting or trying to change their bodies (Common Sense Media).

These numbers don’t mean “girls are broken”—they mean the culture we’re raising them in is hurting them.

When girls don’t feel like they belong or trust themselves early on, it touches everything: friendships, leadership, academics, mental health, and self-worth.

Because when girls know they belong and feel good in their own skin early on, it changes everything.

Belonging isn’t something they have to earn—it’s an automatic DUH! Yes, of course.

They laugh, play, create, and explore growing up in safe, supportive, soul-filling ways.

What if we gave them something different? A place where...

They feel proud of who they are (awkwardness and all) IN EVERY PHASE THEY'RE IN.

BUT iT DoESN't HaVE TO BE THis WAY.

To give girls what they don’t often get in today’s world:

Moon Magic Club is a 4-part, in-person series for girls ages 9–13 here in Bermuda.

From September to December, We gather around the rhythms of the moon and Earth to explore questions like...

Where do I belong?

Who am I becoming?

What is my unique magic and how do I express it?

What’s happening to my body (and is it normal)?

What does it mean to be a girl in the world right now?

Through ritual, creativity, sisterhood, storytelling, and play, we WILL:

- Build confidence + body love
- Make real lasting friendships
- Learn ABOUT moon, earth, body
- Create memories and keepsakes
- Have SO MUCH FREAKING FUN!!

When I was a girl, I didn’t have a space to be awkward and amazing at the same time...cry and laugh in the same five minutes...ask big, weird questions about life and my body and growing up. I figured it out alone—like most of us did.

Motherhood cracked me open and made me see how deeply we need villages, belonging, and rites of passage.

For over 11 years, I’ve been creating transformational experiences for women around the world—leading coaching programs, founding a practitioner certification school, and training in ritual, ceremony, and deep space-holding. I’ve mentored girls since college and spent summers as a sleepaway camp counselor (impromptu dance parties, friendship bracelets, and late-night deep talks were my jam).

Moon Magic Club is the village I wish I had growing up—so our girls don’t have to figure it all out alone, and so they know, from the start, that they already belong and they are already magic.

Who is Moon Magic Club for?

Who is Moon Magic Club for?

Moon Magic Club is designed for girls ages 9–13—that tender in-between stage where so much is changing, both inside and out. Some are curious, some shy, some “too cool for everything” (if you know, you know!!). All flavors are welcomed, accounted for, and celebrated here.

What will she do each circle?

What will she do each circle?

Think of each session like a mash-up of camp vibes, magical Hogwarts energy, and soul-nourishing girl talk. Here’s the flow she can expect:

  • Arrive + Connect: We kick each circle off with connection games or grounding rituals so she feels present and welcome—even if she’s shy or thinks she’s “too cool for this” (hi, I see you, tween energy).
  • Explore the Theme: We dive into whatever we’re circling around that day—friendship, self-confidence, body changes, boundaries, personal power—through stories, questions, and conversation. Sharing is always optional.
  • Create + Express: There’s always a creative hands-on project (crafting, journaling, or making a keepsake) that connects to the theme and gives her something tangible to take home.
  • Ritual + Reflection: We close with a short, meaningful ritual—a group affirmation, a song, an intention, or mini celebration—so she leaves feeling grounded, celebrated, and actually good about herself.

TL;DR: She’ll laugh, make cool stuff, probably make some besties, and leave feeling more confident and connected than when she walked in <3

Can parents attend or stay during sessions?

Can parents attend or stay during sessions?

We find that girls tend to open up more when parents aren’t in the room, so our regular sessions are for girls only (facilitated by Lexi and trusted assistants).

But you’ll still be part of their experience!
  • After each session, you’ll receive a "What We Did + How You Can Support Her” handout so you can keep the conversations flowing at home.
  • During our final Rise + Shine Circle, parents and family members are invited to join us toward the end to celebrate their girl and witness her journey. (We’ll send all the details so you know exactly when and how to join in the fun!)
  • We’re also hosting an optional—but highly recommended—Caregiver Circle, designed to support you as you support your girl. It’s a space for connection, guidance, and building a community of parents + caregivers who are also navigating this beautiful (and sometimes wiiiiild) stage of growing up.

And…if you’ve been craving your own Mother’s Circle or Women’s Circle, let me know 😉. I’m organizing those here in Bermuda too!

What if she can’t make all 4 circles?

What if she can’t make all 4 circles?

We highly encourage attending all four circles—each one builds on the last, and a big part of the magic is the friendships and trust that grow over time.

If she’ll have to miss just one session, that’s totally okay—we’ll make sure she still feels included and caught up.

If she knows she’ll need to miss two or more sessions, please reach out so we can chat and figure out what’s best for her experience. Feel free to reach out on Instagram (@ritualandgather) or via email lexi@lexidangelo.com

Part of what makes Moon Magic Club so special is the relationships and trust that build over time. When girls show up consistently, they don’t just get the most out of the experience for themselves—they also contribute to the magic of the group.

We encourage girls to treat this as a commitment to themselves and to each other—a chance to practice showing up, even on days they feel shy, tired, or unsure. That devotion is part of the rite of passage: learning that they belong here, even when they’re not feeling their best, and that their presence matters.

What if she doesn't like it?

What if she doesn't like it?

Totally valid question—trying something new can feel big and bring up a lot of feelings. It’s actually pretty common for girls to have “off days” or feel unsure after their very first session (new faces, new space, new vibe—it’s a lot!).

We ask that she attend at least one more session to give it a true second try. Often, once the initial jitters pass and she’s had another chance to connect, the experience feels completely different.

If, after two sessions, she still feels it’s not the right fit, let us know and we’ll work with you from there.

what if she loves it and wants more?!

what if she loves it and wants more?!

We want that too! In the new year, we’re launching an ongoing Moon Magic Circle that meets twice a month so the magic, friendships, and confidence-building don’t stop after one season.

This 4-session series is just the taster. We’re already building the waitlist (only 12 spots again!) and may even create two age groups (younger + older). If you’re interested, let us know so we can save your spot!

How much is it? What if we can't afford it?

How much is it? What if we can't afford it?

We believe every girl deserves to belong, no matter what her family’s financial situation is. That’s why we’ve created two tiers:

  • Base Tier – $444: Full 4-part series, including all supplies, keepsakes, and celebrations.
  • Share The Love Tier – $666: For families who want to help cover scholarship spots / costs for girls who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend.

If the Base Tier cost is still out of reach, we have scholarship opportunities—just reach out. We mean it when we say: if your daughter wants to be here, we’ll find a way.

I’d love to chat! DM me on Instagram (@ritualandgather) or email me at lexi@lexidangelo.com. No question is too small, weird, or “is-this-okay-to-ask?”
